Dr. Lakshman finished his fellowship as an ICU pulmonologist at Boston University when the COVID-19 outbreak began. Thrown into unknown territory, Lakshman and his colleagues struggled to navigate their new reality as the virus raged. The ICU, a place once built upon teamwork and relationships, had quickly shifted into a place of isolation. Struggling to find refuge in the workplace, Lakshman discovered an unexpected hobby.
